Gavin Goes to School

Gavin and Andrew on Gavin's first day of preschool!
I found this preschool that is run by an LDS lady that I met at a youth activity. So I asked her the prices of her preschool and she gave me her website. So now Gavin is going to a preschool every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Gavin calls his teacher Ms. Becky. Great lady! She has been teaching preschool and had child-care in her home for 13 years. Now she just does preschool. For Gavin's first day of preschool he painted these pictures of friends and a backpack. He learned "London Bridge is Falling Down". And he found out that on Wednesday he gets to learn about caterpillers. He is so excited. The benifit for me other than having only one child for a bit? It's a 3.5 mile walk round trip. I'll be losin' inches here pretty quick!!! WOOT WOOT!!!

Our First Family Vacation!

So, after not returning to my homeland Florida after a little over 2 years I got homesick and Joel relented and let this be our first family vacation!

As you can see the 1st day after traveling was a catch up day before the fun began, Logan was so tired that if we tried to lift the pillow he would start to cry so he slept with a pillow that he himself put over himself.

We decided to try Logan out on the pool and see how he liked it and of course he loved it!

Aren't my toes sooo pretty?!

We did get a chance to go to I-Drive and get some brazilian food! yum! (Logan slept while we ate in his car seat next to us)

Next was the main event... DISNEY! Joel has never been so we went, and to start it off we took the boat across to Magic Kingdom with Brenda, Renee, Marvin, and Sheppy!

And Logan was excited...

We took Logan to see the real Pirates of the Carribean and Renee (a friend) our "nanny" came along to help with the kids :)
Logan wasn't that happy about waiting in line... he fell asleep and slept through the whole ride...
Of course we HAD to make it to the new STAR WARS 3-D ride

And we made the 3-D glasses look cool
Joel wants this for Christmas...
And one of these...

I was not ready to go...

So we stopped at Hollywood Stuidos and Epcot!

Next was the beach and we went to New Symerna and Logan LOVED IT!

By the end of the time at the beach, Logan ate 5 lbs of sand and 10 gallons of salt water... ewww

We took one of our last days to visit with my sister Jenny and her husband Dave which was a blast!
Sammy (her son) ruled the Wii
While Logan loved up on Rachel (her daughter)

We hung out at the beach with them and then went to an amazing pizza parlor oh sooo good!

Last but not least we made it to the temple where we did sealings it was the highlight of the trip to go back to where we were married and of course it was stormy...

The end

Here is a map of our Mission Area. Maybe you can keep track of us by using this map or one you have at your home. We probably will be in Central Java. That is the island that Jakarta is on, but much further east of Jakarta! Kami adalah senang untuk melayani missi di Indonesia!

GOOD MORNING GREENWAY(AND RICHINS) FAMILY!!! Ok enough of that. Just a few things going on out here in Idaho. Kyle is loving his job and racked up a whole $128 commission in 2 weeks. That's $1,280 +/- in sales. Andrew and I are having allergy issues. I think it is the alfalfa mom. They are starting to harvest the wheat and alfalfa and neither Andrew or I can breath through our noses. Gavin is so smart it walked into Kyle the other day and said "DAD!! 9+1 is 10!!". I guess I'm gonna hafta watch that one...he's quiiick. On the rough side we had our car vandalized sometime Sunday night. We went to church and all was well. Kyle went to work Monday and the windshield was cracked. I'm a little worried to drive it down to Utah. It's going to cost us either $300 out right or $500 deductible. Grrrrr. And just after we finished getting everything ready for the trip. Changed our brakes and fluids and then this happens. DO'H!! Also I am wondering if ya'll want me to just post on here or should I continue on my other page...I'm not sure any of you read that one. Let me know. We love all of you. Travel safely and we'll see some of you soon.

Zoo Adventures!!

Ty took the day of on Tuesday and we decided to go to the Zoo in Washington D.C. We got there after lunch and rode the Metro into the city.

We then spent the afternoon enjoying the zoo. Really!! It was a beautiful day. It was a little warm, but there was a nice breeze. The zoo had "misters" that you could walk under and get a little damp and then you really cooled off. The only time Isaac "freaked" was at the gorilla house. I don't know if it was the big silverback gorilla that suddenly started walking towards him or the stampede of people heading towards the gorilla, but Isaac decided that he didn't like the gorillas anymore!

Isaac's head was really stuck in the dinosaurs mouth. He didn't realize it until he tried to get out. I thought it was hysterical. Him, not so funny.

On the way home, we had to stop twice along the side of the road to let Isaac go potty (I guess we kept him well hydrated) and then we went to IHOP for dinner. We had a great day!
