Thursday 6 June, was a holiday for the Islamic community. It commemorates the day the Prophet Mohammad learned that prayer should be 5X a day. As we headed for Semarang, we passed this "parade" near Jln. Slamet Riyadi.
There were many young people dressed in white plus these "dignitaries".
A beautiful drive through the mountains, around Salatiga to the kampung of Bandungan, Semarang "County" to the new resort of Umbul Sido Mukti. The poster says: "Meeting of Single Adults, Surakarta Stake, Umbul Sido Mukti Ungaran (resort).
